Please join us for the following illustrated lecture on the art and
architecture of the cities of Ani, Armenia on October 17.
Ani: The Fabled Capital of Armenia
Lucy Der Manuelian, Arthur H. Dadian and Ara Oztemel Professor of
Armenian Art and Architectural History, Tufts University
Wednesday, October 17, 6:30 p.m.
Fogg Museum, Norton Lecture Hall
The surviving architecture of this medieval capital's fabled churches
and palaces tells the story of Armenia's contributions in literature,
biblical studies, and art, particularly its inspiration of later
Romanesque and Gothic architecture.

following each lecture. A dish inspired by the cuisine of the city
