EVENT- Participatory Video Festival, Bishkek, Dec. 6

Dear Colleagues:

In June 2008 Taalim-Forum Public Foundation conducted the seminar
"Basics of Participatory Video" within the Project "Place Based
Education: Community Outreach". The project interprets and
investigates different perspectives of the intensification of
connection between communities and places where they live.

By this time there is a series of video films made by the trained
facilitators. Some ordinary people, local inhabitants acquired the
Participatory Video methods took direct participation in creation of
these films. There are different communities understanding values of
nature and earth and realizing all consequences of human activities in
the video camera focus.

We are glad to inform that this video material will be shown at the
Participatory Video Festival at 1 pm on December 6, 2008.

We are looking forward to meeting you at the Festival.
