American University of Central Asia seeks a dynamic, experienced
individual to serve as Director of International recruitment. The
candidate should ideally fit to the following criteria:

- have excellent understanding of admissions process at higher
educational institutions;
- have prior experience in education and/or admissions;
- possess proven effective coordination, team building, networking,
and communication skills;
- be a strategic thinker with ability to set/attain goals and
successfully implement solutions; a highly motivated self-starter with
the desire to make a difference;
- have proactive customer service orientation; marketing, PR, sales
skills will be an added advantage;
- be able to motivate, delegate and influence functional staff;
- having a profound understanding of Central Asian and Kyrgyzstan
conditions will be an added advantage;
- be fluent in English, Russian and have a working knowledge of Kyrgyz;
- have excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
packages; willingness and aptitude to for utilizing new technologies
is essential.

The Director of international recruitment will report to the Vice
President for Academic Affairs. The salary is competitive and
