CD PUBL.- Language Resource: Meeting Turkish Students CD-ROM

Posted by: Inner Asian and Uralic National Resource Center <iaau@indiana.edu>

Due to overwhelming popularity, the Inner Asian & Uralic National
Resource Center at Indiana University is pleased to announce the
reissue of Susan Oezel's Meeting Turkish Students CD-ROM.

This interactive language learning CD provides a unique opportunity to
practice elementary conversational Turkish. The CD includes short
monologues and exercises on three topics: making acquaintances, family
life, and hometowns; all expose beginners to various accents and
speeds of native speakers. There are a total of 32 video clips, which
range between 8 and 70 seconds in length, and 20 exercises.

The CD-ROM is available free of charge from the Inner Asian & Uralic
National Resource Center as part of the Center's outreach initiative.
To place a request, please visit the Center's website at

http://www.indiana.edu/~iaunrc/site/outreach/mts.html or send an email
with your name, address, and expected use of the CD (for private
study, as a supplement to a course, or as a teaching material for a
course) to iaau@indiana.edu. The CD-ROM is only available for
delivery to US addresses.

The website of the Inner Asian & Uralic National Resource Center
(http://www.indiana.edu/~iaunrc/) prominently links to the request page, too.
