Announcing a talk by
Jessica Rawson of Oxford University
on
"Beads, Beasts and Gold: Interactions across Inner Asia and
Transformations in China's Burial and Ritual Practices"
The talk is part of the Harvard University East Asian Archaeology
Seminar series, and will be given on Wednesday, September 19, at 4:30
p.m., in Haller Hall at the University Museum on Oxford Street.
Professor Dame Jessica Rawson is Warden of Merton College, Oxford, and a
member of the faculties of Oriental Studies and of Archaeology, formerly
of the British Museum in London, and an exceptionally distinguished
scholar of many aspects of Chinese art and archaeology.
