JOB- Research Assistant - Mongolian / Anthropology

Looking for a research assistant interested in socio-cultural
anthropology. The student needs to be eligible for the Federal Work-Study
program. Duties include library and on-line research, writing book and
article summaries, compiling bibliographies, and organizing images and
documents. The duties will be balanced between intellectually stimulating
research and administrative work.

The work hours are flexible. The workload will be approximately 10-15
hours a week, and can be adjusted to the student~Rs weekly schedule. The
pay scale is $9.00-$11.80/hour for an undergraduate and $9.00-$17.15/hour
for a graduate student. Familiarity with the Cyrillic script and/or some
basic knowledge of Mongolian and/or Russian is desired. Attention to
detail, reliability, organizational skills, ability to work independently,
and interest in anthropology and cultures are required.
