wide spectrum of sources, along with an analysis article focusing on

Uzbekistan was missing from a meeting of the Collective Security
Treaty Organization (CSTO) in Yerevan this week.

Faced with increasing water shortages, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan,
downstream users of Central Asian waterways, are preparing to jointly
block Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan's proposed hydroelectric projects upstream.

Uzbekistan was not among 72 countries and 20 international agencies at
a major stakeholders' conference this week in the Hague convened by
the UN, the Afghan government, and the Dutch Foreign Ministry to
address security and development in Afghanistan.
