Dear James Pickett:

With the academic year ending, we would like to ask you, PLEASE: If you
anticipate a change in your e-mail address over the summer, please let us know
before your old e-mail account closes.

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. It will ensure that we can keep in touch with you,
and save us time (it is a time-consuming task to figure out addresses on the
list that have gone bad).

To UPDATE YOUR ADDRESS, please just send a note telling us the old address
*AND* the new one. Note also that it is always possible to unsubscribe by
using the "mailto" unsubscribe address (which appears in the header of
every posting to Central-Eurasia-L):

To TEMPORARILY SUSPEND DELIVERY of mail from Central-Eurasia-L, please note

Here, you can also select other subscription settings, such as the "Digest"
format, or unsubscribe. Note that in order to change your settings you will
have to enter your password. You can find the password in a message which
will be sent to you sometime tonight from the list server, which confirms
your subscription and password, or you can request your password at the
webpage indicated above.

After your summer break or travels, you can return later to the same webpage
to resume delivery.

By doing this simple task, you will help reduce the burden of administering
the list and ensure that we stay connected.
